Govt: Benefits for Russian high-tech equip buyers to spur demand
MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- Tax allowances for the companies purchasing Russian high-technological equipment may boost demand, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters on Tuesday.
“The measure announced today by the president will certainly enhance demand for Russia-made high-technological equipment,” Manturov said.
President Vladimir Putin earlier suggested expanding the corporate profit tax allowance to the companies buying national high-technological equipment.
“Deduction from the corporate profit tax for the purchases of Russian equipment, for example, metal processing, and industrial robots will be beneficial for the economy of capacity upgrade projects and will become a good impetus for machine building enterprises to place more orders for national manufacturing solutions,” Manturov said.
